We must enact educational equity policies that ensure that Mississippi no longer ranks at the bottom, but that we are providing students with school environments that are conducive for innovative learning, that we are resourcing schools with the tools they need to be successful and that we are paying teachers what they need so that we can continue to recruit and retain professional educators.
